ZADAR – (50 minutes by car) This North Dalmatian metropolis attracts not only with its wide range of services and great swimming, but also with its valuable historical monuments. Take a stroll through the ancient Forum or the legendary Kalalarze Street, discover the sound of the Sea Organ and enjoy the captivating Salutation to the Sun. It lies partly on the mainland and partly on a small peninsula. Although Zadar was badly damaged by the aggression of Krajina Serbs in 1991-1992, all the damage has long since been repaired, and in 2016 Zadar was even awarded the prestigious title of European Best Destination.
